The Leader Family

Christmas 2005

Christmas is our favorite time of year. Tina and Doug along with Ariel and Madison all dressed up for The Christmas Cantata at church Christmas Eve.

We celebrate Christmas Eve at the Marti and Nelson's house. Doug and Brad played a rousing game of foosball for the title of Champion of the Universe. All hail Doug the Champion of the Universe.

The kids were getting a little anxious to open presents so we made silly faces at each other to pass some time till present time. Hannah finally got in on the act...at first he just looked at us all like we were crazy.

Look at these cute faces... we can be serious when we want to be.

Ariel and Madison had a bit of a hunt for one of their presents this year. Grandma made them go all over the house even outside looking for clues for their present.

Oh my gosh... are these really MP3 players... are you kidding me?
I guess running all over the house was worth this.

We opened a few gifts in the morning before church. Ariel and Madison each were surprised to see portable DVD players under their trees. Madison got a digital camera and we wanted her to have it to take pictures on Christmas day. Doug got his sirius radio he wanted so bad.

Christmas day is celebrated at our house. The Shenbergers and Snyders join the Leader families for dinner and more fun. This year Nelson made a Turducken (a Turkey with a duck inside then there is a chicken inside the duck) and it was good, my compliments to the chef.

After we ate we opened presents and spent some time visiting with family. Another blessed Christmas, Doug and I are so lucky to have such wonderful kids and great families to celebrate with.
