The Leader Family

Sluggo's Originals

This dining room table I made with cherry and mahogany veneer for the field with ribbon-striped mahogany for the border. There is a figured ash inlay around the field and quartered cherry diamond inlays at the corners and centered in the borders. My father and I made the wrought iron base. The table measures 4' by 6'.

I made this dining room table top for my parents for Christmas one year. It has a birdseye maple field with a mahogany border. The table leaf also has a bubinga inlay accent. A 1/8" black inlay goes between the border and the field.

This is just a fun little accent table that I made. It has a 24 piece walnut sunburst top with a maple inlay. The base is also walnut with maple accents.

I donated this table to the Martin Memorial Library for their remodel/expansion project. My good friend, Lorry Rene, asked me to do this about three weeks before the reopening. It has a cherry sunburst field with a kirelean birch burl inlay and 1/8" black accents. The border and the base is dark stained cherry.

I made the bodies for these two bass guitars. I currently do not have either together as I used various parts for other projects. The smaller one was the first real project that I did on my own. It is made of mahogany and fiddle-back maple. The 8-string is also made with mahogany, but has a maple burl top and back with padauk inlays.
